Description
The world’s first picosecond laser
The cynosure picosure laser was the world’s first picosecond aesthetic laser hit the market place which went down as one of the industries most unprecedented innovation of technology. Today the Cynosure picosure laser has evolved and most manufacturers boast a picosecond laser in the armoury.
This breakthrough in technology meant laser pulses could be delivered to the skin in ultra-short burst ie picosecond bursts rather than the nano second technology that was then found. In fact picosecond technology is 100 times shorter than nanosecond technology.
This technology allowed an unmatched photochemical impact for faster, more effective and less treatments in the clearance of tattoo and pigmentation.
This technology also leads to much higher peak powers, as the shorter pulse-width coupled with more pulse-energy = high peak powers.
The Cynosure Picosecond laser can be used for
- Tattoo removal
- Skin rejuvenation
- Pigmentation removal
- + much more
Cynosure Picosure uses ultra-short pulse durations, known as pico pulses, which goes beyond a photo-thermal reaction to a photo-mechanical reaction. This pressure-wave created by the photoacoustic effect results in greater disruption of the target chromophore which could be:
- Collagen for skin rejuvenation
- Pigment for pigmentation removal
- Tattoo in for tattoo removal
The results is:
- Better clearance
- Fewer treatments
- Less fluence need so safer to surrounding tissue
Boost adjustable power
The technology amplifies the pressure wave delivered to the target tissue leading to fantastic treatment options and is particularly useful for stubborn ink such as recalcification tattoos
Skin rejuvenation with Focus Lens Array
Picosecond laser technology combined with the focus lens array leads to stunning skin rejuvenation treatments. It utilises a closely packed array of diffractive lenses and harness and redistributes each pico pulse for unprecedented photomechanical effect
